This afternoon, I talked with Capt. Alan Bernstein, owner of BB Riverboats in Newport, Ky. Bernstein discussed the state of the passenger vessel industry and how his boat company is dealing with the coronavirus pandemic. The company has three vessels that operate sightseeing, dining, and private event cruises on the scenic Ohio River.

David Krapf has been editor of WorkBoat, the nation’s leading trade magazine for the inland and coastal waterways industry, since 1999. Krapf has been in the publishing industry since 1987, beginning as a reporter and editor with daily and weekly newspapers in the Houston area.
