Harley Marine’s newest vessel, the Lela Franco, hit the water on June 16. She began her maiden voyage at Diversified Marine in
Portland, Ore., and made her way to Millennium Maritime in Wilmington, Calif. Millennium Maritime is a Harley company.
With two Tier 3 Caterpillar 3516C engines and two 125-kW John Deere 6068 Tier 3 generators, the 80’x36’x16’8” Lela Franco
boasts environmentally responsible and technologically advanced equipment. Watch the naming ceremony on July 30 as she joins her identically-constructed sister tug, Michelle Sloan, in service on the Los Angeles Harbor.
