At a keel authentication ceremony for the new King County water taxi that was held at All American Marine in Bellingham, Wash., last month, WorkBoat Technical Editor Bruce Buls interviewed Harold Taniguchi, director of King County's Transportation Department, and Paul Brodeur, director of King County's Marine Division. The 250-passenger water taxis will be 104.3'x32.9'x6.5' with a service speed of 28 knots.
