Simulation from AIS data of the March 9 collision between chemical tanker Carla Maersk and the bulk carrier Conti Peridot in the Houston Ship Channel near Morgans Point. The collision occurred in dense fog resulting in the spillage of an unknown quantity of methyl tertiary butyl ether from Carla Maersk in the channel.
