MobileOps Inc., involved in the design and development of maritime software applications (safety, compliance, vessel maintenance, scheduling, analytics) and ioCurrents, a maritime data analytics and IoT technology company, have partnered to launch an integration designed to revolutionize the maritime sector.

In a world where data plays a significant role in operational efficiencies, this integration is designed to empower MobileOps and ioCurrents users to leave their operations on auto-pilot through the automation of data collection.

MobileOps and ioCurrents have teamed up to provide a combination of ioCurrents MarineInsight sensor data streamlined seamlessly through the MobileOps platform. ioCurrents state-of-the-art DataHub, an edge-analytics IoT device collects real-time component hour and vessel position GPS data, which is then stored in a secure cloud. When configured and mapped to MobileOps components, these analytics can be utilized to further optimize vessel operations by eliminating the need for recurring data entry.

The partnership is driven by a mutual passion for maritime and desire to provide innovative technology solutions that simplify and streamline operations management.

“We're thrilled to partner with ioCurrents and provide our mutual customers with an integration that amplifies the value of both software platforms. We're excited about the future and look forward to innovating with ioCurrents on behalf of our customers.” MobileOps CEO and founder Michael Armfield said in a prepared statement. Co-founder and CIO of ioCurrents, Cosmo King said,

“MobileOps and ioCurrents share the vision that software should be simple and useful. Through this integration our pre-analyzed data sets are automatically populated into MobileOps, reducing manual efforts and potential human error, making this an even easier and more efficient end solution; it is truly a win for everyone involved.”

The integration will continue to be enhanced in collaboration by the MobileOps and ioCurrents teams as maritime operators continuously look for new ways to optimize their operations, save valuable time, and reduce costs fleetwide.
