| The U.S. rig count is up two from last week to 624 with oil rigs up one to 502, gas rigs up one to 118 and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at four, Baker Hughes said today.The U.S. rig count is down 147 rigs from last year's count of 771 with oil rigs down 110, gas rigs down 39 and miscellaneous up two.The U.S. offshore rig count is up two to 24, up nine year-over-year.The Canada rig count is up five from last week to 198, with oil rigs up five to 121, gas rigs up one to 77 and miscellaneous down one.The Canada rig count is down 12 from last year's count of 210, with oil rigs down 23, and gas rigs up 11 and miscellaneous unchanged. |
