An Intermarine cargo ship allided with a moored Kirby Inland Marine barge Thursday night in Texas' Corpus Christi Inner Harbor.

The 480' Ocean Freedom was carrying steel, and the barge was not loaded.

Coast Guard Sector Corpus Christi watchstanders received a call about the incident at 10:30 p.m. Thursday and dispatched a 45' response boat and crew shortly after, along with a marine investigator, marine inspector, and pollution responder crews. Local partners also responded.

A man from the scene went to Christus Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi-Shoreline with a possible knee injury.

No pollution has been reported.

The cause of the incident is under investigation.
