The Towing Safety Advisory Committee (TSAC) will conduct a teleconference meeting on Feb. 25 to discuss such items as the manning of inspected towing vessels, the designation of narrow channels and midstream LNG refueling of towing vessels.
During the teleconference, TSAC, sponsored by the U.S. Coast Guard, will also discuss its final report on Recommendations for the Improvement of Automatic Identification System Encoding for Towing Vessels and review of Coast Guard marine casualty reporting requirements and revision of form CG–2692, Report of Marine Casualty. The meeting is open to the public.
