Last month, the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management announced it would prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Construction and Operations Plan (COP) proposed by Beacon Wind LLC. BOEM has initiated a 30-day public comment period that ends on 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on July 31, 2023.
BOEM has scheduled four public meetings during the comment period. The public comment period will help identify what BOEM may consider as part of its environmental review of Beacon Wind’s COP.
