On behalf of the entire WorkBoat team, welcome to the 45th edition of the International WorkBoat Show! It’s an exciting time to be part of the U.S. commercial maritime industry, and there’s no better place to gather than here in New Orleans for the sector’s largest trade show.
To our friends, customers, and colleagues, thank you for joining us once again at the WorkBoat Show. This year’s event brings together more than 13,000 maritime professionals from across the country and beyond, with hundreds of exhibitors showcasing thousands of products and services. We’re also proud to partner with We Work the Waterways to welcome 300 students to the show, giving them the opportunity to explore all that the maritime industry has to offer.
Our team has also assembled a robust and thought-provoking conference program — sponsored by MaK — featuring a range of timely discussions led by WorkBoat editors and industry experts.
On Wednesday, Dec. 3, sessions include the Women in Maritime Summit, sponsored by Massachusetts Maritime Academy and Fairwater, and Answering the Call: Revitalizing U.S. Icebreaking Power for the Arctic Frontier. A perennial highlight, WorkBoat’s 2025 Boat of the Year will also be announced on opening day during the Significant Boats Happy Hour, sponsored by Travelers.
On Thursday, Dec. 4, the day begins at 8 a.m. with WorkBoat’s Maritime Breakfast: U.S. Shipbuilding — Progress, Workforce, and the Path Ahead, sponsored by Endress + Hauser. A full slate of sessions will follow, including Navigating the Crosscurrents: The Future of U.S. Dredging, What’s Going on with the U.S. WorkBoat Sector? featuring Sal Mercogliano, and Uncrewed Surface Vessels for U.S. Defense: Charting the Navy-After-Next.
On Friday, Dec. 5, attendees can look forward to popular sessions exploring U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, and U.S. Coast Guard boatbuilding programs. You won’t want to miss them.
For the third consecutive year, the WorkBoat team — in collaboration with the Association of Diving Contractors International and the ROV Committee of the Marine Technology Society — is proud to host Underwater Intervention alongside the WorkBoat Show. This event features its own exhibit area and a multitrack technical conference focused on underwater technology and innovation.
