The car carrier Hoegh Osaka ran aground in the Solent Jan. 3 shortly after leaving Southampton, England, on its way to Germany. The vessel refloated itself unexpectedly yesterday at high tide and will be towed to a holding position in Southampton water where a full assessment will be carried out before she is moved any further, according to BBC News.
