Teledyne Technologies Inc. announced it has consolidated ChartWorld and Raymarine Commercial into a single global commercial navigation brand, Raymarine Commercial, bringing together digital navigation services, hardware, and support under one organization.

The move folds ChartWorld’s electronic chart display and information system (ECDIS), digital navigation tools, and managed service offerings into the Raymarine Commercial portfolio. Teledyne said the integration is intended to create a more unified structure for delivering navigation systems and services to commercial vessel operators.

“Bringing ChartWorld and Raymarine Commercial together under one unified brand is a clear example of how Teledyne integrates strategic acquisitions to strengthen our core business,” said Grégoire Outters, president of Teledyne Marine Group. “By aligning people, technology, and products within a single commercial navigation organization, we are better positioned to serve our customers as the maritime industry moves toward increasingly connected, data-driven, and regulated operating environments.”

Teledyne acquired ChartWorld in 2023. The company has been known for its digital navigation capabilities, including a hardware-as-a-service ECDIS model, along with global data services and support infrastructure. Raymarine Commercial, part of Teledyne Marine, provides IMO-approved radar and ECDIS systems, along with other bridge electronics.

In 2025, Teledyne expanded its marine electronics portfolio through additional acquisitions, including TransponderTech, Hackefors, Sweden, from Saab AB, and the Maretron brand and product lines from Littelfuse Inc..

Under the combined brand, Teledyne said customers will have access to an integrated navigation suite that includes ECDIS, radar, sensors, data services, and remote support. The company noted the alignment is backed by its global engineering resources and is intended to streamline product delivery and service.

“Today’s announcement brings our teams and technologies together under one unified name,” said Stephan Dimke, general manager of ChartWorld. “More importantly, it allows us to stand closer to our customers as a trusted partner – helping them navigate the challenges of an increasingly connected era of shipping.”

The consolidation comes as vessel operators prepare for the rollout of the S-100 universal hydrographic data model and increased connectivity requirements across fleets. Teledyne said the unified Raymarine Commercial brand is positioned to support operators as navigation systems evolve alongside regulatory and data demands.
