SSA Marine has opened a new office in downtown Miami, expanding the marine terminal operator’s presence in South Florida and the cruise industry.
The office is located in the Southeast Financial Center, near Bayfront Park. The location places SSA Marine’s cruise division leadership team closer to cruise lines, port authorities and other customers operating in the Miami market.
“Miami is where the cruise industry comes together, and having our team here allows us to be closer to our customers, strengthen critical partnerships, and create new opportunities for growth across our business and the industry,” Stefano Borzone, president of SSA Marine’s cruise division, said in a statement announcing the opening.
SSA Marine’s cruise division handles more than 25 million passenger movements annually across 24 locations in the U.S., Mexico and Canada.
The company provides cruise stevedoring and terminal services at five Florida ports: PortMiami, Port Everglades, Port Canaveral, Port Tampa Bay and Jaxport.
