JA Moody, Malvern, Pa., announced a strategic partnership with Phoenix Lighting, Milwaukee, expanding its product offerings into electrical equipment for U.S. Navy and marine customers.

JA Moody, which has traditionally supplied flow control products to the Navy and marine industry, said the partnership marks a move into electrical systems and components, allowing the company to broaden its product portfolio and offer additional equipment for shipboard applications.

Under the agreement, JA Moody will offer Phoenix Lighting’s LED lighting systems designed for marine and shipboard environments. The lighting products are built for use in harsh operating conditions, including exposure to vibration, moisture, salt spray, and temperature fluctuations.

Phoenix Lighting manufactures marine-grade LED lighting used across military, maritime, mining, and industrial sectors. The company said its lighting systems have been installed on vessels operated by the U.S. Navy, Military Sealift Command, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Army watercraft, the Maritime Administration, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and NOAA.

JA Moody said it has also expanded its internal capabilities by adding electrical product specialists to support customers with technical assistance, application guidance, and product support.

The companies said the partnership is intended to provide integrated equipment solutions for naval and marine customers, particularly in applications where lighting systems must meet military and marine operating requirements.
