Marine salvage company Resolve Marine, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., announced on Monday that it has hired Jose Darsin as its new executive director of global operations.
In the newly created role, Darsin will oversee the company’s global operational departments and report directly to CEO Joseph Farrell III. He will be based in Fort Lauderdale.
Darsin brings extensive international experience in multisite operations, emergency and disaster response, project management, risk mitigation, and strategic planning. He previously served as chief operating officer at I-4 Mobility Partners. Other prior roles include senior U.S.-based positions at Fluor Corp., Transfield Services, and AECOM.
Darsin holds a civil engineering degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires, an M.S. in transportation, planning and engineering from New York University, and an MBA from Babson College’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. He is a licensed professional engineer.
