The Shearer Group, Inc. (TSGI) announced Tyler Zylinski has joined its naval architecture, marine engineering, and marine surveying firm. Zylinski graduated from the Webb Institute, Glen Cove, N.Y., with a Bachelor of Science degree in naval architecture and marine engineering.
During his studies at Webb, Zylinski interned at TSGI's sister company, BHGI. Tyler also interned at Marine Design and Operations Inc., Woodbridge, N.J., where he worked on a variety of projects related to stability, stress analyses, fire safety plans, and structural inspections.
He was also a port engineering intern at Seaside LNG, Jacksonville, Fla., where he assisted in the commissioning of a new liquified natural gas bunkering barge.
