This week Manitowoc, Wis.-based Burger Boat Company launched Chicago's Classic Lady, a 98' steel passenger vessel for Chicago's First Lady Cruises, Chicago. Chicago's Classic Lady is a sistership to Chicago's Leading Lady built by Burger in 2011.

Chicago's Classic Lady was designed by Seacraft Design, Sturgeon Bay, Wis. The 299-passenger vessel features exterior styling that reflects the handsome elegance of early 20th century luxury yachts. With an open-air upper deck and climate controlled interior spaces, passengers can enjoy the Chicago skyline throughout the vessel, the company said.

The 90'x32'x6'2" vessel will be used for upscale private parties, wedding rehearsal dinners and corporate events, as well as serve as an official vessel for the Chicago Architecture Foundation River Cruise, according to the company.

Chicago's Classic Lady is powered by two Caterpillar C12 main engines and has two Caterpillar C4.4 generators. The vessel is certified USCG Subchapter K.
