Mike Complita is a principal at Elliott Bay Design Group and serves as the vice president of strategic expansion. Over his 30-year tenure with the firm, he has led complex, high-impact initiatives and is recognized for his strategic leadership, industry foresight, and deep technical expertise.

A professionally licensed engineer, Mike brings comprehensive experience in naval architecture and marine engineering, with particular strengths in vessel design, alternative fuel integration, and nontraditional maritime applications. He has overseen major design, repair, and analysis programs and has played a pivotal role in several of the industry’s most significant projects.

In addition to his executive role, Mike serves on the boards of Uplift Northwest, Maritime Blue, and WaveWorks Alliance, where he contributes his strategic, technical, and governance insights to advance workforce development, maritime innovation, and operational excellence.
