Crowley, Jacksonville, Fla., announced on Wednesday that Chief Operating Officer Ray Fitzgerald will be succeeded by Megan Davidson effective Jan. 1, 2026, in a planned transition.
Fitzgerald has served as COO for more than five years, overseeing changes to the company’s operational structure and advancing innovation and customer-focused solutions in the energy, maritime, and inland transportation sectors. He will remain an advisor to the company as he transitions toward an expected retirement in 2026.

Davidson, who became Crowley’s chief people officer in 2021, has led efforts to strengthen the company’s culture, governance, and performance management systems. She has also overseen legal, risk, safety, and environmental assurance functions since 2024 as chief people and regulatory officer.
