DeJong & Lebet Inc., Jacksonville, Fla., has named M. Jacob "Jake" Connally a partner, the naval architecture and marine engineering firm announced. Connally has worked at the company for more than 20 years, providing naval architecture, stability analysis, and structural design services.
“Jake has been a solid contributor to our business for a long time,” the company's president, Andy Lebet, said. “Jake's efficiency, accuracy, experience in the field, and helpful outlook are familiar to our clients throughout the passenger vessel and workboat industries.”
Ed Vaughn, a vice president with the firm, said Connally’s promotion reflects his longstanding role at the firm. “Jake becoming a partner was a natural fit, and ensures D&L's continued support of the marine industry, as well as our extensive vessel design catalog, spanning back more than 40 years.”
DeJong & Lebet was founded in 1983 by Norman DeJong and Andy Lebet and maintains design records originating from Norman DeJong & Associates dating to 1968.
