Willard Marine, a 56-year-old builder of composite and aluminum boats, has appointed Ning Wang as director of operations and program management.

Wang will oversee Willard Marine’s planning, purchasing, stockroom and IT operations. He will be based in the company’s corporate offices in Anaheim, Calif.

“Ning Wang is a motivated, highly analytical individual who has a deep understanding in these areas, which will help us expand our capabilities and further strengthen our management team,” said Ulrich Gottschling, president of Willard Marine, in a company news release. “Our customers expect timely deliveries of high-quality products, and his new role reflects our commitment to obtain only the very best talent available to keep us competitive as we grow.”

Wang brings over a decade of management experience in the wireless and technology industries to Willard Marine. He has held senior operations, business development and management positions at AnyDATA Corp. and Transaction Network Services. He has a Master of Business Administration from Oxford University, a Master of Science degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Massachusetts and a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and mathematics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
