Seabrook, Texas-based AER Supply, a marine wholesale distribution company specializing in complete technical systems for the commercial and pleasure boat markets, has signed a contract with Richards Marine Marketing of Heisson, Wash., an independent marine manufacturer’s representative, to be AER’s representative for the C-Marine thruster product line in Alaska, Oregon, Washington and British Columbia. Richards Marine will promote the C-Marine thruster line to dealers, installers and boat builders in the region.
The C-Marine Electric Bow Thruster is an important device when moving vessels at low speed. It makes maneuvering easier, safer and quicker. The propeller, which is made of maintenance free synthetic material, can run in two directions, thus producing a jet flow to port or starboard. Each propeller is designed to achieve maximum thrust in a small tunnel diameter. This makes maneuvering in tight spots against a strong current or a shifty wind much easier.
