American Roll-On Roll-Off Carrier Group Inc. (ARC Group) has appointed Chris Heibel as chief operating officer, effective June 1, 2025.
In his new role, Heibel will oversee the company’s commercial and operational functions, including sales, marketing, pricing, and operations related to ARC’s global roll-on/roll-off shipping services. ARC Group is the largest U.S.-flag Ro-Ro shipping company operating in international trade and provides logistics support to the U.S. Department of Defense.
Heibel has worked at ARC Group for nearly 18 years, serving in senior leadership roles across the company’s commercial and military markets divisions. Most recently, he was senior vice president, commercial.
Prior to joining ARC Group, Heibel served for 21 years in the U.S. Army, retiring as a colonel. His military career included logistics and transportation leadership roles in various global assignments.
