Job Title: Marine Technicians
Location: St, Augustine FL and San Diego CA (22 total work sites around the US)
The Marine Technician is responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on United States Customs and Border Protection Vessels, United States Coast Guard Vessels and other First responder vessels and related equipment as directed.
Conduct routine, preventative, predictive and casualty maintenance to diesel and gasoline powered vessels and related equipment vessels up to 50ft in length.
Conduct trailer repairs and overhauls.
Conduct diagnostic troubleshooting and repair of propulsion, transmissions, lower units, propellers, shafts.
Conduct electrical and electronic systems installations on vessels that are operated in the marine environment.
Certificate of completion from Marine Mechanic program preferred but not necessary. Must be able to pass a Government Public Trust Background investigation and participate in random drug screening program. Provide own tools with the exception of specialized tools to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on vessels and related equipment
