Kvichak to build seven more TPSBs for Coast Guard

Kvichak Marine Industries, Seattle, Wash., was awarded a five year contract by the Coast Guard for the construction of 32’ Transportable Port Security Boats (TPSB) in 2011. The 23’9″x8’6″x24″ TPSB is an all-aluminum vessel operated by a crew of four and includes shock-mitigating seats to minimize crew fatigue on extended missions.
