VT Halter Marine’s facilities are strategically located with deepwater access.  Each shipyard performs specialized services, but all work in concert to maximize production capacity. The center of VT Halter Marine is its Pascagoula Operations; home to Corporate Headquarters, Engineering, Fabrication and a Foreign Trade Zone. It produces Panamax-sized vessels up to 50,000 DWT and features a newly expanded 600’ tilt-beam launch system. Pascagoula Operations provides steel cutting and engineering services for all three facilities. Moss Point Marine is utilized for commercial projects; Halter Moss Point, government programs.  Precise scheduling allows for the full utilization of facilities and multiple projects are carried out simultaneously and efficiently. VT Halter Marine builds to the requirements of the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Navy, American Bureau of Shipping, Lloyds, Det Norske Veritas, IMO and other regulatory bodies and classification societies. More than 2,600 vessels have been delivered from its facilities to commercial and government clients located in twenty-nine countries on five continents.

Repair / Conversion Services

VT Halter Marine's Vessel Repair and Conversion Facility is statigically located in the Gulf of Mexico deepwater Port of Pascagoula, MS. With over 3,400 ft of bulkheaded pier space, that accomodates a 12,000 ton dry-dock, the location services scheduled and emergency repair and conversion project for a diverse marine customer base.
