Todd Busch has been promoted to general manager for Crowley Maritime Corp.’s Southern California ship assist and escort services operations. Busch has been with Crowley for 16 years.
Scott Theriot has been tabbed to fill the newly created position of vice president, business development, at Bollinger Shipyards Inc., Lockport, La. Over the past 17 years, Theriot has served in various capacities with Bollinger.
Dean White was re-elected chairman of the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway Development Council for 2004 at its recent annual meeting. White is marine supervisor at Gulf Caribe Maritime Inc., Mobile, Ala. Other officers re-elected to one-year terms are BillSmith, vice president of IPSCO Steel, Mobile, Ala., vice-chairman; Eugene Bishop, executive director of the Yellow Creek Port Authority, Luka, Miss., treasurer; and TimWeston, executive director of the Itawamba County Development Council, Fulton, Miss., secretary. Curtis McGuirt is the new sales and design specialist at Beaumont, Texas-based Nance International Inc. The company provides heating, ventilation, refrigeration, air conditioning, and pressurization equipment to the marine and offshore drilling industry.
Oil and Gas Reporting Service Inc., Corpus Christi, Texas, and Gulf Coast Mapping LLC, Lafayette, La., have formed a joint venture to construct and operate a Web site, www.oilandgasmaps.com. The purpose is to allow clients to view digitized maps online from their offices or from anywhere that Internet access is available. The maps will show county, survey and abstract lines, waterways, roads, cultural landmarks, and oil and gas wells. Colored aerial maps will also be available.
