Family-owned Weeks Marine Inc., Cranford, N.J., has six divisions and operates cranes, tugs, dredges, barges and other pieces of waterborne equipment. The six divisions are:

Dredging. Weeks operates hydraulic, hopper and clamshell dredges throughout the U.S. and Caribbean.

Construction. The company specializes in marine-related construction projects including piers, jetties, pipelines, bridges, outfalls, and offshore platforms as well as demolition.

Stevedoring. Weeks is the largest bulk stevedore in the Port of New York/New Jersey and one of the largest on the U.S. East Coast.

Marine Transportation. The company specializes in multiple and difficult tows and also offers complete turnkey packages for marine transportation movements with over 30 tugs and hundreds of deck, hopper, and specialized barges.

Heavy lift and salvage. Weeks Marine’s waterborne lift services utilize an extensive equipment inventory that includes floating cranes with lift capacities of up to 500 tons.

Equipment charter/rental. Floating equipment such as barges, cranes and tugs are available for rental or bareboat charter.
