BAE Systems highlights new construction projects

BAE Systems highlighted its new construction projects and maintenance, repair, overhaul and conversion capabilities at the 2013 International WorkBoat Show.

BAE Systems is currently busy with the construction of the first of two platform supply vessels for GulfMark Americas at its shipyard in Mobile, Ala. These Jones Act vessels will be delivered in 2014. The company is also focused on the four 252’x60′ PSVs it’s building for Jackson Offshore Holdings at its Jacksonville, Fla., shipyard. Deliveries of the PSVs, also Jones Act vessels, are scheduled for 2014 and 2015.

BAE Systems specializes in bluewater ship repairs and conversions, including those from commercial fleets, cruise ships and vessels that serve the U.S. defense cargo market. The company also has a successful history of vessel repair, maintenance, overhaul, conversion and marine fabrication for domestic, international, commercial and government customers.
