NEW ORLEANS - Here in the workboat industry, we take for granted that the WorkBoat Show will be in New Orleans each year. Some of us fly in, hit a few restaurants, and then fly home. Others just drive on over from the office. But as show director Bob Callahan always says, "The WorkBoat Show almost has to be in New Orleans. It's the heart of the industry."
But how important is the workboat industry to New Orleans? For that perspective, we turn to Tommy Tucker, morning host at WWL-AM radio and a guy who watches the local business climate closely.
