Larson Electronics launches high intensity LED light with color output

Larson Electronics announces the launch of its Model LEDP3W-12X2C LED light. Designed for harsh environments, this LED light produces an intense 2,736-lumen output with a 3-amp current draw and can provide reliable interoperable service for up to 50,000 hours, the company says.

The LEDP3W-12X2C color LED light is designed to withstand moisture and dust intrusion, Larson Electronics says, and is housed in a rugged, compact enclosure that makes the device suitable for use in the harshest of conditions.  Available with green, red, amber and blue LED light output, this low voltage LED draws only 3 amps on a 12-volt circuit. Power supplies are available for operation on 120/277 VAC.

Features include high-intensity illumination with low power consumption for longer service, IP 68 construction that enables outdoor use, the ability to withstand extreme environmental conditions of -40 degrees C to 85 degrees C, and unique pulse width modulation drivers that allow operators to dim or strobe light.

“With the introduction of this new color output LED light bar, a wide variety of applications can be served in many different industries,” says  Rob Bresnahan of Larson Electronics’, in a company press release. “Green LED lights are very effective for bird control on industrial buildings, saving operators a lot on money in repairs.”
