Hubbell Marine says its 50 amp
Twist-Lock shore power products are uniquely designed and built to deliver
power, even in the harshest of conditions.
They utilize rugged components such as a heat-resistant
thermoset interior and robust cord clamp that enhance strain relief. The
company says its 50 amp offering of inlets, plugs and connector bodies will stand
up to whatever the weather dishes out.
To seal out the elements, Hubbell Marine's 50 amp inlets
employ a gasketed cover that closes when not in use. The nickel-plated contacts
won't corrode and ensure a reliable electrical termination. A thermoset contact
carrier prevents possible arcing and overheating, enhancing the products'
safety and life expectancy, the company says.
Hubbell Marine's 50 amp plug and connector body replacement
fittings also feature box-lug style terminations and a metal cord clamp for a secure
and reliable connection. Compatible with existing cables, Hubbell Marine says, they
simplify replacement of fittings.
Hubbell Marine's 50 amp devices come in 125 and 125/250 volt
versions. Inlets and receptacles boxes, closure caps and replacement parts are
also available. They meet USCG requirements, are UL Listed and have ABYC
approval.
