Kvichak Marine Industries in Seattle announces the appointment of Kevin
Kirby as its new proposal manager.
Kirby has
been with Kvichak for over two years as a project lead engineer. His most
recent projects include the recently launched 67-foot Connor Foss Pilot Boat, a
54-foot hydrofoil catamaran, the 30-foot Rapid Response Skimmers and the Bridge
Erection Boat prototypes currently undergoing testing by the U.S. Army.
Prior to
Kvichak, Kirby was with SAFE boats for eight years where he worked on multiple
aluminum boat projects for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast
Guard, multiple law enforcement agencies, fire departments and foreign military
boats ranging from 25 to 65 feet.
Kirby was also the senior designer/project manager with United States Marine Inc. for 10 years prior to his work at SAFE Boats. Kirby brings to Kvichak 22 years of experience in the aluminum boatbuilding business.
