NEW ORLEANS - Here at the International WorkBoat Show, shipbuilder All-American Marine and survey engineering firm C&C Technologies combined to offer tours of the Sea Scout, a research vessel built by All-American last year and now operating in the Gulf. Bruce Buls profiled the vessel in the April issue of WorkBoat. It is notable for being the first aluminum catamaran with quadruple propellers and measures 134'x37'.
Online editor Sam Pfeifle took advantage of the opportunity and was accompanied by Jeff Sokolik, All-American project manager, and got a look at the engine room, survey lab, wheelhouse, galley, and crew quarters. To see all of the above and more, you can watch the following video:
