Algae-X International,
manufacturers of diesel fuel quality optimization equipment, is expanding its
Fort Myers headquarters. Algae-X is more than doubling its production, assembly
and office space in the Billy Creek Industrial Park, adjacent to I-75.
“Our expansion will be completed in the first quarter of
2012 and will provide work for our growing team of employees and for local
contractors and tradesmen,” says Ed Conrad, company spokesperson, in an AXI
press release.
“Both our domestic and export business are rapidly growing.
AXI is working with clients and new partners more than ever before in South
America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Expanding the size of our facilities
here in Southwest Florida enables us to accommodate this growth and to continue
to adequately service our customers in these markets,” adds Wout Lisseveld, Algae-X’s
CEO.
AXI’s patented Green Certified technologies and equipment optimizes,
restores and maintains fuel quality guaranteeing peak engine performance and
reliable power while lowering operating costs, the company says. Algae-X
asserts that its commitment to customer service and superior engineering has
propelled the company to a leadership position in the market and promoted a
more efficient use of earth’s non-renewable resources.
