Marcus Kolb, Chief Product & Innovation Officer, VideoRay

Marcus Kolb is father of 4 and CP&IO (Chief Product and Innovation Officer) of VideoRay LLC, a company that designs, develops and sells underwater robots. He is a Computer Engineer, holds several patents and has designed and built a biological weapon detection system for the US Army, large scale industrial control systems, a thermonuclear fusion reactor and, now, designs underwater robotic systems. Marcus has been on scientific expeditions with National Geographic to the Yucatan and Antarctica with NSF doing under ice research including under ice scuba diving. He’s been working closely with the US Navy developing systems to deal with underwater explosive devices and other threats.

Russell Giles, Technical Sales – Civil Structure, Voyis

Russell is a former graduate of the University of Waterloo Civil Engineering Department with experience working for both heavy civil contractors and consultants. Russell is currently focusing his efforts on enhancing civil infrastructure inspections through the utilization of cutting-edge underwater optical systems. With a wealth of experience in the field, Russell has played a pivotal role in revolutionizing the way civil infrastructure is assessed and maintained at Voyis.

Curtis Opsahl, Sales Engineer, North America, Reach Robotics

Curtis Opsahl leverages his mechanical engineering expertise and client-facing skills to develop customized solutions and support to Reach Robotics' subsea manipulator clients. His role allows him to apply his knowledge from past experience leading R&D teams to help implement and improve subsea robotic manipulator operations across the offshore energy, defense, commercial diving and robotics research industries.
 

Mats Ekstrøm, Senior Sales Engineer, North America, Depro AS

Working at Depro AS as Senior sales engineer with main focus Depro’s system like the Buddy ROV, BLUROC and VideoRay ROV systems.

Long experience with subsea (38 years) first with a well-known ROV manufacturer, ROV pilot/engineer, and later mainly with technical sales of ROV’s, sensors, ocean science, hydroacoustic and LARS systems.

Worked with MacArtney for 20 years before I started my own consultancy for a couple of years, where I finally ended Depro AS.
